My work around tyres and wheels has shown me how important routine pressure checks are. Portable tyre inflators interest me because they can make those checks and top-ups more convenient — provided the pump suits the vehicle and the job.

Choosing a tyre inflator can be confusing. Similar-looking products can differ in power supply, hose reach, included accessories and the kind of workload they can handle. A large maximum-pressure figure does not tell the whole story.

I built Best Tyre Inflator to make those differences easier to understand. My aim is to help UK drivers choose equipment that fits their vehicle, their routine and their budget.
