Bosch EasyPump review: features, limits & UK buying advice
A sensible all-purpose shortlist choice if light carrying weight and keeping small adaptors together are priorities. We cannot promise a particular number of car tyres per charge. Compare current complete packages with the Xiaomi before choosing.

Our verdict
We would compare this with the Xiaomi if portability and accessory storage matter most. Its 150 PSI rating does not establish that it is quicker or better suited to large tyres.
Reasons to consider
- 430 g manufacturer-listed weight
- Integrated adaptor storage
- Preset pressure and automatic stop
Keep in mind
- Short hose limits positioning
- No verified runtime or speed comparison in this guide
What it means in everyday use
The EasyPump’s attraction is a small all-purpose package. At a manufacturer-listed 430 g, it is lighter on paper than the Xiaomi, although the brands’ weighing conventions are not a controlled comparison. Keeping the small adaptors in the handle is useful if the pump is shared between car tyres, bicycles and balls. Its short hose is the main positioning compromise to consider.
Bosch lists a 430 g weight, a 3.0 Ah integrated battery and a 20 cm hose. Adaptors live in the handle, which should make them easier to keep with the pump. Its published uses include car, motorcycle and bicycle tyres.

Speed, accuracy and battery claims
The specifications here come from Bosch’s UK product page. We have not independently measured inflation speed, pressure accuracy or the number of tyres it can top up per charge.
The UK specifications establish features, not a verified runtime or speed advantage. Do not interpret the maximum airflow number as a constant delivery rate at every tyre pressure.
We have not established a comparable noise, endurance or long-term reliability result. We therefore do not assign a numerical performance score.
What is included — and what costs extra?
Bosch lists a French-valve (Presta) adaptor, ball needle, volume adaptor, USB cable and textile bag. The 3.6V battery is integrated, so this is not a bare tool that needs a separate Bosch power-tool battery.

Bosch or Xiaomi Air Compressor 2?
Bosch’s adaptor storage in the handle is a useful practical distinction. Xiaomi offers a quick-connect adaptor and publishes conditional battery and inflation claims. Neither maximum PSI nor battery capacity by itself establishes which will inflate your car tyre sooner. If you leave a pump untouched for months, also consider a 12V Ring instead.

Check these before ordering
- Match the model identifier: 0603947000.
- Confirm your required pressure from the vehicle handbook or placard.
- Check power compatibility, hose positioning and the complete kit cost.
- Read the exact operating and cooling instructions before use.
- Check current seller, returns terms and stock at the retailer.
A high maximum pressure is not evidence of faster inflation or suitability for continuous use.
How this assessment was prepared

Frequently asked questions
Does the EasyPump need a Bosch tool battery?
No. The listed EasyPump has an integrated 3.6V/3.0Ah battery. It is not a bare tool designed to accept a separate Bosch power-tool pack.
Is the Bosch EasyPump suitable for cars?
Bosch lists car tyres among its intended applications. Suitability for a particular job also depends on tyre volume, target pressure and operating limits; this does not establish an inflation time.
Does it work with Presta valves?
Bosch lists a French-valve (Presta) adaptor. Follow the supplied instructions and check your bicycle tyre and rim pressure limits.
